Q: What kind of gear do you use?

A: I shoot with all Canon full-frame professional gear with a variety of lenses,  and lighting gear....

 

Q: I would like you to shoot my wedding, how do I start the process?

A: Reach me via my contact form along with your wedding date and venue, if secured. I can respond by email or phone. If possible, I would like to meet you both in person so you can get to know your future photographer and can ask me everything you need. Once you’ve decided to choose me as your photographer, I will send a contract for you to sign and and return with a deposit. After that, you can check “find a photographer” off your wedding to-do list.

 

Q: How much do I need to deposit?

A: I require a 25% initial deposit and the remaining balance due a week prior to your wedding day.

 

Q: How far should we book in advance?

A: Typically within 4 to 12 months in advance. If you’re not the plan in the advance type, fret not. Check with me for availability.

 

Q: Is an engagement portrait session included in your booking?

A: Yes! if you book your wedding with me you receive a free 2 hour engagement session. This is my gift to you and it helps us get to know one another before your big day!  

 

Q: What if I book and paid for engagement portrait session and then decide to book you for my wedding.

A: No problem! I will refund you the cost of the engagement session or pro-rate your wedding package the cost of the session because engagement portraits are part of my wedding package.  Awesome right????!!!!!

 

Q: Will you be shooting the wedding?

A: Yes Absolutely!!! You are hiring me to shoot the wedding, not another photographer working under my name.

 

Q: Do you have second shooters?

A: Yes I do!! My second 2nd shooter offers a different but complementary perspective and allows me to work more efficiently throughout the entire day. This frees me up to focus more on looking for and shooting those special moments while ensuring that between the two of us, we don’t miss the important moments. If they are available for your wedding day my 2nd shooter is $50 per hour. 

 

Q: Do we get all the images you take?

A:  No, we do not provide all images. During your wedding we will be taking a ton of photos.  We then thoroughly review each image and eliminate duplicates / triplicates, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. Do you really need 8 photos with you and uncle Bob in the same pose lol? Another example is because we shoot with low apertures, sometimes we take a few extra shots focusing on different points to make sure we have the perfect focus. We spend a great deal of time reviewing each duplicate image to select the one with the sharpest focus.

 

Q: When will I get to see my photos?

A: Your photos will generally be ready within 4-8 weeks following the event. 

 

Q: Do you shoot video?

A: No unfortunately, to focus my attention on the photography, I cannot do both at once myself. But I have friends that does!!!  Talk to Scott, he's aweome!!!! His info is below...
